What is Virtue?
Virtue is refraining from doing to others what would cause us pain or suffering if it happened to us. It is also the act of helping others in the same way we would feel immense joy if someone supported us during times of hardship, poverty, or hunger.
In life, the opportunities and circumstances we encounter, and the way we utilize them, determine whether we live in poverty or prosperity. Regardless of who we are, we cannot survive without the support of others. Just as a business owner cannot thrive without customers, and we cannot satisfy our hunger without farmers, mutual dependence is essential. Therefore, let us find joy in giving to others what we can and delight in making others happy.
In alignment with the golden saying, "Delight in making others happy," the People Helping People Foundation (PHPF) has been consistently engaging in numerous noble initiatives, including:
Providing essential learning materials for education,
Supplying necessary equipment for students in sports and arts,
Offering vocational training along with the required machinery,
Delivering relief materials to those affected during disasters,
Extending support to individuals with disabilities,
Assisting farmers with agricultural needs, and
Encouraging and supporting athletes.
Today, in collaboration with the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) and under the compassionate leadership of Dr. Sindhuja, PHPF has distributed relief materials worth nine lakh rupees to those in need.
This remarkable event was spearheaded by Mr. Francis Jesudasan, the European countries president of CBWR and the director of the Steps of Forgiveness Organization, whose unwavering commitment to service ensured the success of this initiative.
Such compassionate efforts not only highlight the power of unity and humanity but also inspire us all to contribute towards building a kinder and more supportive society. Together, through acts of generosity, we can create a world where everyone feels valued, empowered, and uplifted.
"Viele kleine Leute in vielen kleinen Orten, die viele kleine Schritte tun, können das Gesicht der Welt verändern."
